The Sidebar

The sidebar can display several different panels. You can change the currently displayed panel using the button bar located at the top of the sidebar.

• The SQL source view panel displays the SQL source text of the database design.
  Normally it appears on the left although it can be hidden if you prefer.
• The Diff panel displays SQL instructions to change from one version of a document to another
• The Find panel allows you to search the document for specific objects
• The Tree view panel displays a hierarchical tree view of the document

The Sidebar may be hidden by dragging or double clicking the Sidebar Divider Control.

SQLEditor can be configured to hide the Sidebar when creating a new document. If the sidebar is hidden just double click on the divider control to open the sidebar.
