These steps are not necessary for most users because SQLEditor includes built in drivers for MySQL

1. First download the MySQL JDBC Driver from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/
2. unpack the driver
3. Copy the jar file to /Library/Java/Extensions/
